By shedding the illusions of limitation, I awakened to the truth—my creative power could shape any reality, even modelling.
Courage wasn't a grand moment—it was the accumulation of aligned decisions I kept saying yes to. That’s how I became who I am today.
If you're ever in Streetsville, ON, you may see a massive me in the store window of Village Hair Salon. (PS. Yes, this is my real hair 🙂 )
“If I couldn’t do it then, I would ensure it happened someday...”
This has been my quiet mantra for as long as I can remember.
When I look through my portfolio today, I don’t just see beautiful images or collaborations with visionary artists—I see my courage. I see a woman who chased her dreams with devotion and persistence. Who didn’t wait for permission. Who found a way.
As a teen, you could always find me behind the lens, snapping pics of my friends after styling their hair, makeup, and outfits. I had a natural love for creative direction, and I could always envision the final result before the camera even clicked.
I took my first modeling courses in junior high and high school, often barely able to afford the payments. I’d feel embarrassed showing up sometimes, unsure if I belonged. But I kept going. I worked a popcorn shop job at the mall to pay for what I could—and I did it anyway.
Years later, in art school, I jumped on every casting call posted in the hallways. I immersed myself in student photoshoots and evolved right alongside the photographers and stylists I collaborated with. Every shoot was another act of self-belief.
Eventually, I took a foundational course in Toronto to better understand the industry, not from a place of fantasy—but as a professional determined to bring integrity, skill, and passion to every opportunity.
I worked with a few smaller agencies, but most of my opportunities came through my own hustle. I said yes. I sent the emails. I went to the auditions, even when my heart was pounding and I wasn’t sure I was "enough."
And through it all—I showed up for myself.
That self-trust opened doors I once thought were closed to me:
🖤 TV segments with CP24 and Global.
🖤 Fashion shows, music videos, and magazine features.
🖤 Working with incredible clients like H&M and The National Women’s Show.
🖤 And collaborating with artists and creatives who lit up the room with their brilliance.
And here’s the thing:
✨ I’m only 5’3.
✨ I didn’t grow up with money for fancy clothes or professional headshots.
✨ I didn’t have a roadmap—I had a dream.
But I stopped waiting. I stopped making excuses. And I began walking the path, one bold step at a time.
Let this be a mirror for you, too.
Stop waiting for the stars to align.
Stop letting limitations—age, finances, background, height, doubts—decide your worthiness.
You are already a vessel for divine creation.
You are already a force of nature.
The power is there.
Believe in it. Believe in you.
